“Very simple, airy, with natural light,” – this is how the owner described his vision for his family home. With the help of Architect Peter Buendia, this dream was turned into reality. Reminiscent of a weekend home, the house is filled with sliding doors and generous windows that open up to the outdoors – allowing light and air to breeze into the space.

The living, dining, and kitchen areas all share a singular open space. Because of the open plan, the area is bathed in natural light. The calming sound of water from a small pond by the dining area creates a more relaxing atmosphere.

Adding a quirky element is a Meralco post – a frequent topic of conversation among guests and visitors – as it stands on the edge of a glass wall inside the living room. The space is completed with metal accessories found in different areas for a surprising industrial feel.
