A Cozy and Modern Family Home in Quezon City
Works of art, beautiful fabrics, and a mix of old and new pieces bring this townhouse to life

All of the homes we’ve visited have one thing in common—each space showcases the personality of the owner. Whether it’s a love for travel, a passion for art, and experimenting with different styles—you can see that each area is a reflection of the owner. In this townhouse in Quezon City, the owners wanted to make sure that their personalities shine through while maintaining a modern aesthetic. “They were very hands-on throughout the process and the areas were well-thought-out. The owners also wanted to bring in pieces from their house in Davao,” says interior designer Jiezl Sunga of Upcycle Manila.
A mix of old and new pieces give character to the home, with works of art by a couple of Filipino artists adding interesting pops of color. Since the owners also wanted to maximize every inch of space, the office/study area was extended and an outdoor storage nook was incorporated into the final look. “Everything went smoothly given the owners’ involvement from conceptualization to implementation. It’s a great combination of function and personality,” adds Jiezl.
