A Modern Filipino Style for a Three-Bedroom Condo
Take a peek inside this cozy newlywed’s starter home that features a dash of warm accents and designer pieces

Despite their packed schedule three months before their wedding day, couple Mikey and Tin still managed to handle wedding preparations while completing their first home. To turn the bare space with basic finishing into a simple and homey haven they wanted, interior designer Pam Tan stepped in.
“They asked for minimal design on the structure, and expressed preference for anything by Vito Selma and Kenneth Cobonpue,” shares the designer. To keep up with the neutral theme, Pam opted for furniture pieces with wood as the key element while wooden slat partitions by the staircase will surely captivate guests. The couple also shopped for some of the pieces, asking for Pam's approval from time to time. After all the hard work, the owners were more than happy with the final look—the space turned out to be simple with a laid-back feel, just the way they like it. A word of advice for fellow homeowners? “Just have fun! Work with a good interior designer who can really bring to life what you have in mind.”
