A 55sqm Space with Digital Theme
Futuristic references complete this well-designed starter home

When couple Chrissy and Bart Dalusong got their condo unit, it was like any other small space. But after designing, renovating, and adding personal touches, it’s now a space that mirrors their personalities and the different facets of their lives.
Since they both work in the digital industry, it’s not surprising that they chose to decorate their home with pieces representing their chosen field. The unit is peppered with items like the QR code area rug and the catchy metal “@” décor. It’s interesting to note that even though these pieces are pleasing to the eye, these weren’t added just for the sake of display. Chrissy, a social media manager, shares that décor pieces added to the space are either functional or something that means something to them.
To address their small space issue, they got in touch with interior designer Melissa Arriola who was also Chrissy’s schoolmate in high school. Melissa then considered their lifestyle, habits, and priority areas in the unit. It took two months to complete the house and the couple is more than happy with the result.
