This 78sqm Multi-bedroom Condo Offers an Elegant and Homey Filipino Vibe
Architect Angelo Siochi proves that statement pieces will always have a place even in small spaces.

Space is always the main consideration and challenge of those who opt for condo living, but this doesn’t mean that a homeowner always has to forego style over functionality; when planned carefully, big statement pieces that create an overarching theme is more than possible even with limited space.
In this 78-sqm condo featuring a master bedroom, two smaller bedrooms, a helper’s room, and three bathrooms, chief architect and creative director of AGSiochi Architecture & Design Angelo Siochi took into account space and the owners’ needs and tastes, tying everything together with touches of Filipino design that make for a luxurious abode with a well-utilized floor area.
“The space should be a place where you can relax and find comfort in. Since condo units have limited space, a hotel feel will work with people who had a busy day at work,” Angelo tells Real Living. “I always take into consideration the movement of the activities in the space and somehow test it myself to ensure a smooth flow within and then start with the decoration after we achieve the proper layouts of the furniture.”
For this home, he began with neutral earth tones. “I used beige as basic color and added colors like red and brown; metal colors of light gold and antique finishes as well. These add richness to the whole space. Combining modern elegance and Filipino elements in materials and texture achieve a local luxe home feel.”
