In case you missed it, Team Kramer's "home away from home" is almost done!

Doug Kramer and his wife Cheska Garcia took to social media to give their followers an update on their latest home project: the renovation of their condo unit.

Based on their posts , the couple commissioned Vianca Anonuevo-Favila and Nikko Sotoridona of Gussy Design to co-design the interiors of the condo unit.

In his Instagram post on August 5, Doug wrote, "Transformation Thursday! Our home condo! And yes, it looks very similar to our home. One year ago, it was turned over to us, since then we've completely transformed it."

The retired basketball player said he and his wife bought the property some time in 2014, confident that its value would appreciate over time.

It was in 2020 when the property was officially turned over to them.

Doug went on to give Team Kramer followers a few pointers on investing in property.

He said, "A lot always ask us for financial advice. And for the most part, our common answer is sacrifice.  For @chekakramer and I, when we were newly married, we knew our journey financially as a couple just started, so we planned to always put needs first over wants.

"For us, we took advantage of cash flows coming in. We would invest more than spend. And one of these investments is this place. This is but a seed we planted and slowly paid off since 7 yrs ago. We would always divert our funds to our forced investments instead of everything left in liquidity. It was a way for assets to appreciate in value while you wait for the right time to let it go."
