A Look Inside Dimples Romana’s Chill and Aesthetic Pool House

Dubbed as Fahmeely HQ, it's where her family holds get-togethers for weekends and special occasions.

Dimples Romana is having the time of her life—celebrating her numerous achievements from giving birth to her third child to receiving international acting accolades, even rubbing elbows with superstars such as K-Drama icon Song Joong Ki. Given the plethora of envy-inducing moments that happened to her during the past year, it’s only fitting for the actress to indulge in some well-deserved R&R here and there.

Sure, she might have the option to jet-set to some of the stunning spots in the country, but it seems like the celebrity mom likes to keep it more low-key and opted to build a pool house for her and the whole family instead.

In her recent vlog, she took her followers on a tour of the newly-built abode which she calls “Fahmeely HQ,” a holiday home where she and her loved ones can lounge whenever they please. For the overall design of the place, she enlisted help from interior and production design team Studio Mara. “I’m super excited kasi this is one of the homes na pina-ayos ko at pina-design,” she said. “Ang idea talaga nito is I wanted a place where we would go Sundays, weekends, weekdays.. come together with family and friends, swim with them if they want, have the kids over, and talagang magkaron ng conversation over food. Alam nyo naman pag salu-salo, gustong-gusto natin kumain.”

The celebrity mom has always been family-oriented, a value that was instilled by her parents in her growing up. Needless to say, she aims to pass on their unbreakable bond to the younger members of their clan. “Nung mga bata kami, kahit limited yung resources namin, our family made sure na we have memories na kumakain nagluluto and nagbabond.”

Below, take a peek at Dimples’ chill and aesthetic pool house:

The whole idea of the turquoise-colored pool was birthed when Dimples saw the home of her on-screen partner Mico Del Rosario, who housed the same hue for his pool. She opted for a lighter, mint color that isnt’ “too busy,” keeping the minimalist vibe that invites everyone to take a dip.

Aside from swimming, the spot also doubles as a place to entertain, with Dimples adding dining and lounge areas where guests can relax. The actress is a passionate cook and likes showing off her culinary skills to create al fresco meals to remember! The wooden dining table and lamp are both courtesy of Acasa Manila, while the miniature fresh pine trees that perfectly complement the muted setting is from Curate Mate. For the couch, she opted for a classic white hue so she can easily style the place for any holiday theme she want—may it be for a romantic Valentine’s day or a festive children’s party.

The kitchen area has both rustic and industrial elements to it, for the reason that Dimples doesn’t want the spot to look intimidating for her guests. “Pet peeve ko yung sobrang ganda ng gamit, parang ayaw magpaggalaw,” she quipped. “Gusto ko kahit hindi sya ganun kamahal, di ka mai-intindimidate gamitin yun.” We also love the nice little detail she incorporated on her brick wall, which was actually turned upside down to create a unique texture and overall feel.

For the lounge area, she made sure to put lots of pots of plants and white pebbles to take advantage of natural light. She credits this design hack to her photographer friend Shaira Luna, who advised her to embrace a picture-friendly home!

With her penchant for charming nooks and crannies, Dimples especially love the unique backdrop of the shower area–which looks like a piece of art itself. The “duyan” chair is courtesy of Dimples’ another good friend Vito Selma, a crowd favorite among her loved ones who love its unique structure. Her plant decorations are all fresh and real—with Dimples gushing over the awesome scent it gives to the house.
