Any home is a product of hard work and perseverance. Would you believe that it took actor Coco Martin three years to realize his spacious sanctuary in Quezon City? Coco wanted to work on the house without falling into debt. ‘Yon ‘yong pinakamasakit na mangyayari sa buhay ko,” he shares in an interview with YES! Magazine.

Acquiring the property meant taking baby steps as well. Coco wasn’t satisfied with the initial shape of the house that he ended up buying adjacent lots resulting to a 2,000sqm dream home. Completing the look meant choosing pieces that follow the aesthetic he had in mind, too. From the big pieces of furniture, to the accents and accessories, the actor made sure that each item complements his vision for the space. Just like other homeowners, Coco believes that building a home is a continuous process. Parang puzzle, binubuo-buo mo siya,” he relates.
