Camille Prats Gives a Peek Inside Their New Family Home
There’s nothing like moving into your new home, more so if you’ve waited for it for two years. This is something actress and TV host, Camille Prats Yambao, can relate to as she and her family recently moved into their modern home.
In an Instagram post, she gave followers a glimpse of the house’s well-lit and living area. furnished with contemporary-looking seating pieces, the space is bathed with a warm glow coming from the lighting pieces. “A day of new hope and new beginnings,” a part of Camille’s caption reads.
On April 17, the digital creator also shared a house update on her Youtube channel which was shot in mid-March. At the time of the video’s recording, the house already looks almost finished, with most of the areas done and waiting to be furnished. According to Camille, interior design studio Gussy Design, the same team who worked with Team Kramer and other celebrities, will be on board to help the family liven up the house.
“I realized while living here, kahit hindi pa masyado kumpleto yung laman, dito ko nalang de-decide-an bilhin yung mga bagay kasi, I wanna be able to make sure na tama ‘yung mga pieces na mabibili ko para hindi sayang. So, malalaman ko lahat ‘yun at makikita ko lang at mafi-feel ko lang kung ano pa ‘yung mga kulang sa bahay once na tumira na kami dito (I realized while living here, even if it isn’t complete yet, I’ll be able to decide what other things to buy to make sure I will get the right pieces. I will know these things, see, and feel what else we need once we live here),” the wais homeowner shares in the video.
Take a look around the almost finished home below:
The house features big windows and glass sliding doors. The first floor houses the common areas – with the living, dining, and kitchen sharing an open layout. Camille confesses they decided not to put too many walls. “[It’s] all glass because we want to be able to appreciate the view from our living room,” she muses.
The kitchen, done by Novacucina, a luxury Italian modular kitchen, has spacious countertops and a kitchen island. Elba appliances will complete the cooking area. It can also be separated from the living and dining areas with a sliding glass door to keep cooking smells contained.
The master bedroom is roomy, with the foot of the bed defined by a shelf which will soon house a TV. As seen from the screenshot, it seems the Camille and her husband, VJ, opted for droplights to flank both sides of the bed.
In the en-suite T&B, his-and-hers sinks can be found as well as a bathtub. A few steps from the bathtub is an enclosed shower area. Camille shared that all bathrooms have towel warmers, a non-negotiable for her. They also settled on mostly black fittings and fixtures.
The couple also has a walk-in closet, with separate spaces for Camille’s and VJ’s belongings. There’s a special storage area for watches and accessories in one side of the walk-in as well.
The master bedroom opens up to a balcony which leads to a bigger balcony that they plan to turn into a seating area/hangout spot where friends can enjoy refreshments and snacks. It also has access to the hallway going to the staircase.
One of the rooms will function as a family room, playroom, and homeschool room where everything related to the kids, playing, and schooling will be done.
Before Camille capped off the quick house tour, she also gave a peek inside the guest room with bathroom.
Some things are definitely worth the wait and Camille is happy that her family will soon be enjoying their new home. DS Prats Construction, a full-service construction company, worked on the house according to the actress’s vlog.
