Take A Look Inside Alex Gonzaga’s Newly Renovated Hotel-Like Condo Unit In Pasig

The actress and her husband recently moved into their "first home" as a married couple.

In her latest YouTube entry, actress-vlogger Alex Gonzaga gave fans a tour of her and her husband Mikee Morada’s "first home" as a married couple.

According to Alex, they renovated their three-bedroom condo unit after experiencing water damage. "Dapat lilipat na kami dito," she recounted. "Biglang one day, may tumawag sa'min at 1 a.m. Nagrereklamo na 'yung nasa baba namin na unit kasi nag baha po sa unit namin. Meron po nag leak dito… so nasira 'yung flooring, baseboard, [atpintuan. Lahat nasira ng tubig."

Fortunately, after three months, they were finally able to move in!

With the help of interior designer Jocar Felix of Studio YOYO, she was able to transform the space into an elegant home that looks cozy and inviting. The colors used in the unit are reminiscent of luxe hotel suites. "Ang gusto ko kasi white, wood, [and] black. 'Yun lang ang gusto kong makita," Alex explained.

Dining area

The unit opens up to the dining area on the right. The window-like mirror on the wall helps visually expand the space and it also doubles as a wall accent!

Living area

Next to the dining spot is the living area. The homeowners decided to furnish it with an L-shaped white sofa, which beautifully complemented the white walls, as well as native elements to add warmth to the space.

Kitchen

Alex’s favorite part of her home is none other than her kitchen! A swivel door with glass windows keeps it separated from the common areas. According to Alex, this helps prevent cooking smells from spreading throughout the unit, especially when they have visitors.

Alex’s kitchen island doubles as extra storage for her plates to maximize the space.

Hallway

The actress loves the small details of her revamped home like this arched entryway:

Master’s bedroom

Just like the rest of the unit, the couple’s cozy bedroom follows a neutral color scheme. Two big windows let in plenty of natural light, making the space appear bright and airy. Our favorite detail? The set of white frames on the wall by Crae PH, which features line art illustrations of Alex and Mikee’s wedding photos.

Walk-in closet

The second bedroom serves as Alex's chic walk-in closet. The glass panels of the cabinets are covered with native materials, which help keep the space looking neat and tidy.
