This Lettuce Farm Became the Family’s Only Source of Income During the Quarantine

The Fortaleza family, for instance, started growing their own vegetables in their unused lot in 2019. Little did they know, this hobby would blossom into a profitable business! In an interview with Summit MediaMel Steven Fortaleza shares that they are earning around P50,000 per harvest.

Currently, the lettuce farm is the family's only source of income, as their construction business was greatly affected by the COVID-19 lockdown. "Buti na lang din may garden—blessing din ni Lord," says Mel. Watch their inspiring story here:
