These Air Bonsais Will Be The Perfect Addition To Your Indoor Garden
Who wouldn't want a floating house plant?
If you thought bonsai plants could not get any cuter, Hoshinchu can prove you wrong. The Japanese firm decided to produce a floating version of this minitaure plant and dubbed it as Air Bonsai.
The tiny trees are created out of balls of moss or what they call "little star" and sits above an "energy base." The magnets from both components repel each other with the help of a rotating mechanism and connected by an AC adapter which makes it levitate.
If you are not fan of bonsai trees, you can replace it with cacti or terrariums as long as it doesn't weigh more than 250 grams. The base is made of traditional Japanese porcelain that can also be customized to the client's preferences.
These aren't on sale yet as the company needs to raise money for mass production. So far, the project has received over $5,000 of the needed $80,000. You can help them out by donating here.
