Did you know that tufting is a timeless furniture detail and has been around since the 1300s? It is where layers of fabric are pulled, folded, and strewn onto a furniture filler or foam with the use of buttons to create a tuft or a snug, buttoned up look. Classic tufted pieces look great in glam rooms, and nice examples are the Chesterfield sofa and the Barcelona Chair.
