No matter the size of the home, chandeliers instantly lend an elegant appeal to its overall look. Interior designer Kristine Neri-Magturo of Urban Abode dishes out tips on how to properly incorporate this grandiose lighting piece and how to decorate around it. Check them out below:

Instead of a collection of small pieces, go big with one statement piece, like a big vase with a huge leaf, to match the grandness of the chandelier. Otherwise, "Magmumukhang kalat yung maraming maliliit na accessories."

2. Match styles.

3. Nix it for low ceilings.

"The reasons why chandeliers are placed as lights is that they can reach a lower level of light," says Kristine. If your ceiling is too low, your chandelier will end up illuminating the floor or brushing against the top of your head.
