Are you tired of simply pulling a boring old bed sheet or a dull blanket all over your entire bed? You can get a completely different and more exciting look by playing with a new comforter and pillows in interesting colors, patterns, or textures. Follow this simple guide to revamp your sleeping space.

1. Using a comforter, duvet, or heavy blanket, cover the whole bed, from the foot of it going up towards the headboard.

2. From around a foot-and-a-half away from the headboard, fold the cover down.

3. Place pillows in an upright position, arranged in this manner: similar colors on the same row, with smaller throw pillows propped against them as accents.

4. If you have three different sizes of pillows, arrange it like this: standard pillows first, then the Euro square, then a neck pillow or a bolster (a cylindrical pillow to support the back).
