All the Fabulous Holiday Table Settings of Celebrities
You might get an idea or two for your New Year's Eve dinner!
Christmas has come and gone, but the festivities go on—until Three Kings Day, at least. What better way to celebrate the holidays than put on a sumptuous spread of food on a beautifully set up dining table?
We can get our cue from the dazzling table settings of Pinoy celebrities (most of them famous for their stunning homes, as well), who really know how to throw a party. Read on for some decorating inspo:
Heart Evangelista: Cherries in the “snow”
Leave it to Heart to make an exquisite table setting, and this year didn’t disappoint: a simple centerpiece of fresh cherries, snow-white dinnerware and coral chargers, delicate floral napkin rings, and individual bowls of castañas (roasted chestnuts), a traditional Christmas snack.
Liz Uy: Luxe white
The style icon was so happy to be home that she threw an early holiday bash for close friends at Blackbird, the fine dining restaurant in the converted 1930s airport building The Nielson Tower. Get elegant dinnerware cues from the lovely setup of white china, white and green flower-fruit-and-herbs-centerpiece, giant glass votives, and a lemon half as placeholder.
Marjorie Barretto: Traditional Red and Green
The actress was definitely hands-on in preparing Noche Buena for her family. The caption on her Instagram post reads: “I happily decorated every table and buffet along with every corner of the house.” Get similar Christmas centerpiece from SM Home.
Sharon Cuneta & KC Concepcion: All-white flowers
The Megastar and her daughter KC had a relatively low-key Noche Buena at home, with turkey. But KC set up a relaxed but lovely “grazing table” on their balcony, complete with hurricane lamps, delicate white flowers, and trays laden with different cheeses and charcuterie. Jericho Rosales and Kim Jones: A Boho blast
The Siargao star’s wife, model Kim Jones, took to Pinterest to get some inspiration for the couple’s fab outdoor Christmas party. Kim kept it casual by nixing a dining table for a huge dining surface made out of wooden pallets. Casually strewn sprigs of greens and candles served as the centerpiece, and boho suzanis and throw pillows were used as seats.
