4 Cozy Spots Where You Can Hang a Hammock

Give your home a comfy boost with these ideas

While we're trying to beat the heat with cost-efficient ways and cooling systems, we can also add a chill spot at home where we can relax, ponder about life, and get some rest. To give your home a summer boost and a quick design upgrade, you may want to hang a hammock! Gone are the days when these pieces are just for outdoor areas only! Here are fun ideas that you may want to consider:

If your living room has enough space, free up the area near a window. Hang your hammock securely here, preferably by a corner, allowing you to fold and keep it easily when not in use. You can also add a houseplant as extra decor to give your special spot a tropical vibe.

For a unique seating space inside your bedroom, opt for a hammock chair. It’s a great addition to the space, especially if you have a small area and can’t hang a full-sized hammock.

If your house or unit has a balcony, turn it into the perfect chill spot by hanging a hammock and adding seat cushions and pillows. Hang your hammock by a window and far from the ledge to avoid any accidents.

If you’re blessed with an ample amount of land for a backyard, you can hang one from your outdoor pergola, backyard patio, or if you have them, between two sturdy trees. You can also add a small table where you can place drinks, books, and other essentials while you take a break.

RL Tip: If any of the options above aren't available, you can create a hammock stand instead. Click here for a quick DIY tutorial.
