3 Quirky She-Sheds That Will Tickle Your Fancy

These will have you building one right away!

Everyone needs a private sanctuary, even when we are in our own homes. Since we already know about the ultimate guy hideout, it's time to turn the tables around and focus on the ladies' equivalent—the she-shed.

Just like man-caves, she-sheds are a great way to build a quick escape where you can do the things you love without taking up room in your main living area. With these special spots, there are no design rules—although more homeowners decide to go for dainty and classic spaces, there are those who would rather think out-of-the-box.

Let these one-of-a-kind spaces inspire you to build a unique one for yourself, too!

Greenhouse Chic

Never underestimate the power of plants—this she-shed looks like a life-size succulent arrangement nestled in a tall garden. We can only imagine how low-maintenance this is—no need to repaint or wipe it clean!

RL Tip: If you're planning to do something similar, consider using furniture and accessories in neutral colors to complement the strong green base.

Two-storey Beauty

Take your she-shed to the next level—literally. If you want a bigger girl's HQ but your backyard doesn't have enough room, consider making one with a second floor. You and your friends will surely have fun holding grown-up slumber parties in here!

RL Tip: If you aren't looking to build a hangout, you can use the upstairs as a mini-library where you can catch up on your weekend reading.

Girly Getaway

If you love all things vintage, feel free to experiment with converting an old mobile home. Go all out with a candy-striped exterior and pair it with flea-market finds and pieces in punchy colors for the interiors.

RL Tip: If you're feeling bold, match bright pink with other pastel shades like sky blue and lavender to make it even more fun!
