Homeowner Builds Tiny House in Laguna in Three Months
It has a stunning view of the Sierra Madre mountain range!
Andrew Elbo's parents own a small lot by the river in Lumban, Laguna. Initially, Andrew thought of making a bahay kubo where his family can hang out. But instead, he decided to build a tiny house!Â
In just three months, Andrew was able to build a loft-type home. Despite only having a floor area of 18 square meters, the tiny, container-inspired house has a spacious living area and a bedroom. "Parang bumili ka lang ng condo," his brother, Christian, tells Summit Media. It also has an outdoor kitchen, which helps keep the compact home from feeling cramped.Â
The best part? The simple abode has a relaxing view of the lake—including the beautiful Sierra Madre mountain range. "Naka harap siya sa silangan tapos kitang-kita namin 'yung Sierra Madre mountain range kaya napaka-ganda," shares Andrew.Â
