When beauty-queen-turned-TV-chef Sabrina Artadi moved into a new house a few years ago, she wanted the space to be warm, cozy and comfortable. The host of the cooking show Sabrina's Kitchen combined decorating techniques for an eclectic style with strong Moroccan, African and pan-Asian flavors.

To make the small house seem larger than it really is, Sabrina chose low walls that are only about four feet high and surrounded the space with lush greenery. She also installed folding doors to let the sunlight and breeze in.
