10 Snug And Cozy Studio Bedrooms
It is possible to have a stylish, cozy, and comfortable sleeping area in a studio unit!
Single-room-living has become the norm these days, and the studio unit is the most ubiquitous—and affordable—city home. And thankfully, the sofa bed is no longer the sole solution to sleeping arrangements, as there are multiple ways to add and camouflage a real bed (or two!) in a studio home. Check out these ideas:
Cocooned by storage
Design HQ filled Stephanie’s studio unit with amazing storage solutions, such as these geometric shelves for the owner’s large collection of travel books and magazines. The shelves also serve as a privacy partition for her sleeping area.

Hidden by bookshelves
Just like in the previous studio, Erik and Therese’s home has ingenious storage features, such as tiny shelves near the ceiling, and cabinets for everything. Interior designer Lisa Salvador Bringas separated the couple’s bed from the rest of the open living area by hiding it partially with a freestanding bookshelf. The placement of the sectional sofa also helps.

All hands on deck
Every area fits snugly into this condo unit, and this owner was even able to squeeze a study area by the window. The studio has a cabin-like feel, with the bed nudged right beside the mirrored cabinet, plus the ambient lighting and multiple wall finishes add to the warmth and coziness.

Design around the layout
Sometimes, you just need to make good use of a small space’s layout, as seen here in this bachelor pad by William Brothers Manila.
As the unit expands out towards the window, the space allows for a small “bedroom,” with a niche for a study area and another for an entertainment center.

Lofty dreams
Interior designer Nikki Audine was able to (almost magically) squeeze in a sleeping loft into this studio unit. The loft layout gives privacy when sleeping, the sofa beneath it can act as a guest bed, and the stairs to the loft holds a surprise—the steps open as drawers!

Curtained and screened off
This may be the tiniest condo home we’ve featured, but it is definitely one of the most stylish. Designed by RG Rosso, a Hong Kong-based design firm, this studio never lacks for small-space ideas, like how a wood-and-wire panel and sheer gray curtain give privacy to the sleeping area and separate it from the kitchen.
Recycled
It is hard to marry “recycled” with “condo unit,” but the owners of this studio were totally aligned with interior designer and JunkNot! founder Willie Garcia’s advocacy.
Here, the sleeping area is raised on a bed frame made out of upcycled wood that acts like a window ledge.

Sectioned-in
Designer Ivan Enteria employed a semi-open layout for this beach-inspired studio unit in Taguig.
Ivan created a low divider made out of reclaimed wood to give privacy for those who will sleep in the two beds behind the divider.

Sliding door
LAHUBRE Designs made the most of a 24sqm unit by layering patterns, textures, materials, and ingenious small-space-solutions, and all with a rustic-industrial vibe. Sliding barn doors on a pipe rail screen off the sleeping area.
Inside, more fanciful touches can be seen, like the DIY luggage vanity table and the trundle bed.
