Since the first issue of Real Living magazine was published in July 2003, our team has seen our fair share of small homes. We have marvelled at the industrial style of an 18sqm condo in Katipunan, highlighted the versatility of a 23sqm condo in Manila, and featured countless other studio and one-bedroom units in between.

While the floor area measurements and other design elements may vary greatly from one space to another, one thing remains the same: each owner of every small place truly made the most of what he or she had.

Inspired by the charm and character of our favorite small spaces, we have decided to share some of our favorite ways to improve any tiny home.
