From the front door, the entryway welcomes guests into the house. Most homes do not have elaborate foyers with big pieces of furniture as many opt for simple yet functional nooks where they can leave keys, important notes, and other essentials they can easily grab before stepping out. Since this part of the home is often filled with your belongings, clutter can easily takeover, turning it into an eyesore.

The trick to keeping it organized? Having a key holder or a towel rack that can hold your bags, umbrellas, and other knickknacks! Instead of dumping your belongings on top of a console or in a corner near the door, you can simply hang them in order. You'll be surprised to find out how one thing can turn an unused space into a command center. This is ideal if you live in a tiny condo unit and would want to have a faux entryway. Those who live in bigger space may consider installing one as well to keep their essentials accessible. Looking for ideas? Check these out:

Why settle for plain, ordinary holders when you can have a personalized one decorated with washi tape and lovely knobs? Using a plank of wood, assorted knobs, and colorful tape, you can create a quirky upcycled key holder that can brighten up your space.
