Group items per size
Small but heavy materials like books, accessories, and canned goods should go to smaller boxes then reserve the big boxes for the bigger objects. When fixing items inside the box, make sure you place the heavy items at the bottom then the delicate pieces on top.
Label your boxes
Before you seal any box, make sure you label it properly. Note the room where it should be placed and if the contents are fragile.
RL Tip: You may also indicate the contents of each box and the name of the owner.
Arrange the boxes accordingly
Once you're done packing, make sure you place the boxes near the door to make loading easier. You may even group the boxes per area.
When packing glassware, make sure that it is wrapped properly to avoid broken pieces. Wrap each item with bubble wrap or you may also use clothes and towels—before placing them inside the boxes.
Safety tip: Always be extra careful when carrying a fragile box. Lift boxes with your knees bent to avoid accidents and injuries.
