Puzzles are among the best toys you can give your kids as it encourages their creativity and imagination, plus allow opportunities for interaction between you and your child. But if your toddler is fond of puzzles, you’d know storing the pieces properly and keeping each where they belong can be a headache.

On SmartParenting.com.ph's parenting community, Smart Parenting Village, mom Maricris Tabañera Manoos, a stay-at-home mom of three from Davao, found a wais solution: a DIY puzzle rack for less than Php200!

It’s really easy to do. “I used two pieces of Daiso’s wooden dish rack priced Php88 each. To create the frame, I used sintraboards, but you can also use cardboards,” the mom writes in her post.

Maricris used packing tape to attach the racks to the frames, but we think that you can also use a glue stick for a more seamless look. You can also add more dish racks if you want it to be taller.

This storage solution actually works — now her son’s puzzles can be stacked neatly in one place. It also makes it easier for little ones to take a puzzle out and put it back after use, helping them become more independent and responsible.

With kids continuing to study at home, this hack is the perfect addition to your child’s learning space. Maricris, who is also the mom behind The Inspired SAHM (@inspiredsahm on Instagram) and who regularly shares practical homeschooling hacks and learning activities on her account, says that she comes up with these ideas because she wants to make learning fun for her three kids.
