Petroleum Jelly

Smear the points of entry of the ants with the jelly. They'll slip and slide in the product which makes it easier for you to catch them.

Sugar

Soak sponges in sugar dissolved in water. Place sponges along the ant trail. When full of ants, throw in boiling water. Repeat as necessary.

Soak in cotton balls and place in strategic corners. Depending on the concentration of your oil, these can leave them dizzy or kill them straight away.
