Quezon City is teeming with wonderful finds—sprawling parks amid the urban jungle, heritage restaurants, more than a handful of food parks, and even historical monuments and interesting museums. Add to the list these home stores, where you can find pieces that can complete your nest no matter what style you prefer.

1. Habitat

This European home brand was established in 1964 and was founded by renowned designer Terence Conran. Its main store in Bonifacio Global City is a haven of casual and modern home items that make for a laid-back yet inviting space. To bring its brand philosophy of "useful, beautiful, and affordable" pieces to a wider market, Habitat expanded to accommodate another branch at U.P. Town Center.

Albeit smaller than its flagship, this QC branch still comes complete with must-have items for your kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom.

Habitat is located at 2/L U.P. Town Center, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City.

2. Dhalton Home

Dhalton Home is unmistakably sophisticated. Pops of color lend visual interest to a generally neutral palette. The well-thought-out setups and vignettes feature pieces that are mostly made in Denmark

Each item—a hand-painted vase or a plush, tufted Chesterfield sofa—is meticulously made, and this you can instantly see when you inspect the pieces up close. Aside from its top-quality furnishings, Dhalton Home also offers free interior design consultations, so you can better create a home as pretty as this store.

Dhalton Home is located at G/L The Magnolia Residences, N. Domingo Street, New Manila, Quezon City.

3. Avino Fine Living

This local brand was established to primarily answer the needs of the local market: quality furniture pieces that won't make a dent on your savings. This unassuming store is filled to the brim with furnishings that will fit right in to your condo home.

Choose from the many sofa beds and extendable tables as well as accent chairs—all these you can have customized, too! Avino also carries a number of quirky decor and storage units that can add more interest to your space.

Avino Fine Living is located at 1180 Unit-1 E. Rodriguez Sr. Ave. cor. Doña Hemady St. corner 13th St., New Manila, Quezon City.

4. Resurrection Furniture and Found Objects Gallery

Tucked away on quiet Alabama Street is this haven of upcycled and repurposed pieces. Discarded wood are turned into rustic side tables or key holders, old cable spools become racks for organizing knickknacks, and surplus materials are transformed into an eye-catching coffee table.

If you want something that will add more character to your home, Resurrection is the place to visit. (A bonus: the 10A Alabama crafts fair is also occasionally held here!)

Resurrection Furniture and Found Objects Gallery is located at 10A Alabama Street, Quezon City.

5. H&M Home

This global brand can easily be your go-to store for stylish home pieces. Here, you can find organizing bins and baskets, pretty bathroom furnishings, plush bed linen and pillows, a wide array of decorative items for your living spaces, and even elegant tableware that's perfect for your next dinner party.

Keep an eye out for its regular end-of-season sale to score lovely finds for less!

Find H&M Home at Robinsons Magnolia, SM The Block, and U.P. Town Center.

6. The Olive Tree

The Olive Tree is not your usual linen store. It takes pride in creating colorful throw pillow covers, placemats, and coasters, among others, that feature indigenous silhouettes and patterns with a modern twist, thanks to digital technology.

With collections named as Paraluman, Juvenal Sanso, and Kuwento, for instance, The Olive Tree is unabashedly proud of its Filipino heritage.

Visit The Olive Tree Corporation website for details on how you can order. You can also drop by The Gardens, Loyola Grand Villas, Quezon City from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Tuesdays to Sundays).
