This month marks Real Living's 12th anniversary and to make it count, we made sure that the July issue is packed with countless tips and must-have finds that will surely help homeowners create a beautiful home that they truly deserve.

Completing this month's issue is our special feature on this year's creatives to watch. These individuals continue to make a mark in their respective fields and inspire others in the industry. Let's meet the architects and designers included in this year's list.

Misty Floro and Pai Edles

Interior Designers, Morfosis 

Design principals Pai Edles and Misty Floro are both graduates from the Philippine School of Interior Design (PSID). From its humble beginnings, Morfosis now oversees a growing number of junior designers. Their aim is not limited to designing beautiful spaces; they also want to help their clients succeed in their business through meaningful design.

Architect Ivy Tablante-Darilag

Principal Architect, Structura

It’s her love for design, math, and planning that drove Ivy to pursue and continuously work on her career as an architect. Presently, she juggles her time between managing her own architectural firm, Structura, and finishing her master’s degree in the said field, majoring in Community Architecture.

Joseph Rastrullo

Furniture Designer, Rastrullo Design Studio

Joseph knew early on that he wanted to be in the design industry, but his passion grew exponentially when he started his apprenticeship with renowned furniture and interior designer Budji Layug. He put up his own practice in 2013, and exhibited in Manila FAME soon after.

Gino Eraña

Interior Designer

Gino is the winner of Avida’s Open House project. He initially took up Architecture in the University of the Philippines-Diliman, but a visual presentation of beautiful interiors in one of his classes changed his mind. He’s been under the wing of Abode & Co. Principal Designer Kristine Neri-Magturo for over a year and a half now, and he feels there is so much more he can learn from his mentor.

Joevie Tuquib

Interior Design Student

Joevie, a graduating interior design student at Polytechnic University of the Philippines, works as a project-based, junior designer under interior designer John Vigilia. He was one of the participants in this year's recently concluded Avida's Open House project.

Jane Samson

Interior Designer

Jane works as one of the interior designers at IDeal Interior Design Services headed by principal designer Hannah Acab-Faustino. For her, every project is exciting and challenging. “As interior designers, we are problem solvers. So every time may client, we must give an ideal solution to their problems,” says Jane. She also took part in this year's Open House project.
