posted in I’m proud to say that my first ever writing job was for Good Housekeeping Philippines way back in 1998 (about homes, of course—thank you, Apol Lejano!). I was working full-time as a designer then, and I snuck in the house shoots during my days off. I continued doing it until I found myself enjoying the shoots more than I did sitting in my salt mine of a design office.

Hi! I am a big fan of your mag and I find your articles and home decorating tips very inspiring. As much as I would like to join your home make-over promo, it frustrates that my area is not included. I live in the Visayas Region kasi. Sayang! anyways, keep up the good work!

First, im not a victim of “ondoy ” so not sure if im really qualified for this makeover promo of you magazine.nonetheless,im just giving this my best shop.I just bought a condo unit ( thru Metro Homeloan)at Tribeca in Sucat but due to some budgetary constrainst i have decided not to move-in yet.I’m an avid reader of your magazine and everytine i found some fancy stories on home designs i usually get a copy.I’ve also seen some makeovers done on some houses and they really look great. appreciate it if you can do me a favor -can you ask if their are some kindred individuals (students preferably ) at PSID who are willing to take a hard look at my unit and propose some adventurous and aesthetic designs so the unit can be made habitable.I can send some pictures of the bare unit if needed.in return, im more than willing to pay them back with buckets of sanmig lite and some pizza!. thanks and best regards,nik
